In Person Mindfulness Retreat in the Berkshires
In this 3 day retreat, Ted and Diane will lead traders through guided mindfulness exercises, reflective writing and therapeutic work with the troublemaking emotional parts that have undermined, sabotaged or otherwise derailed their trading. Held in the beautiful, bucolic Berkshires, this work will center on slowing down, building awareness and shifting relationships with emotions that interfere with trading. Ted and Diane will draw on their years of experience as psychotherapists and trading coaches to help traders get to know and understand the underlying motivations driving problematic trading behaviors and so they may begin to shift their experience and relationship with these parts. We will meet Friday evening (), Saturday for a full day and Sunday morning. The retreat includes an optional hike/nature walk and an opportunity to join for an informal dinner on Saturday night. In addition to developing Self Leadership and your own sense of Self as a trader, this is an excellent opportunity to get connected with other traders and find trading colleagues, accountability partners and build community. Accommodation is not included in the price for the retreat, however there are plenty of affordable AirBnB’s and a few hotels in the area. Anyone interested in sharing accommodations with other participants can let us know and we will put you in touch with one another.

Trading Beneath the Surface
In Trading Beneath the Surface, we will peel back the layers and delve deeply into emotional “parts” that exist in the subconscious mind and impact trading behaviors. Through this process, participants should gain a much fuller understanding of the “parts” that drive troublesome behaviors. Traders will begin to develop a new relationship with those “parts” of themselves. In this group, participants will gain insights through mindfulness-based writing activities and gain a connection with other traders through sharing and supporting one another during sessions. Outside of meetings participants will have the option of connecting with and supporting one another in trading through a small group chat. We will utilize writing exercises, meditation, breathwork, and processing time to reconnect with “parts” that impact trading. Group sessions and homework will guide traders in meeting and working with their emotions that come up in trading. Over the course of the group, traders will gain the tools to navigate trading from a more empowered place. This is a deep dive into emotions that often live far beneath the surface.
8 consecutive weekly meetings beginning 07/11/2024 (No Group on 08/08/2024) Small group format. Cost: $399

Other Offerings
Team Work
Team building sessions are offered to businesses and organizations. These sessions consist of a PowerPoint presentation, lecture and interactive discussion via chat. Presentations serve two important functions: 1. Introducing key concepts; 2. Delivering tools that enable participants to work with their own emotions in an ongoing way. These presentations are a great way to start the process of enhanced performance and engagement of staff through increased emotional awareness and competence because they give everyone a basic understanding of the concepts, including how to language abstract interpersonal experiences. Team Work sessions also give concrete strategies with which to meet one’s emotional experience before becoming emotionally hooked or hijacked, staving off damaging outcomes professionally and interpersonally. Team Work sessions facilitate team building, or a sense of connection or mutuality that comes with increased understanding of shared emotional experience and renders tolerance for different coping styles. These sessions can serve up to 100 participants.
Please contact Ted or Diane to discuss rates, desired time frame and number of participants.
